La Commission Électorale Indépendante avait rendu publicque, dimanche 14 janvier 2024, les résultats provisoires des législatives nationales du 20 décembre 2023. Entre 23000 et 24000 Candidats se sont battus bec et ongles pour tenter de se frayer un des 500 sièges de l’Assemblée nationale Congolaise. Peu après, la nuit du dimanche au lundi, 22 janvier, sont intervenus les résultats provinciaux. Au total, 688 Candidats ont été élus provisoirement. Des milliers d’autres ont, tout simplement, mordu la poussière. Ils sont en pleurs et grincement de dents.
Les heureux lauréats, eux, gambadent. Ils voient, à travers ce rêve devenu réalité, l’accomplissement de tous leurs projets. Je crois, aujourd’hui, il n’est plus ce genre d’homme depuis qu’il est un honorable. Cependant, il lui reste une chose capitale. Il doit se marier et faire honneur à son statut actuel.
