Alors que le territoire de Rutshuru est toujours sous contrôle des rebelles du M23, plusieurs organisations et scientifiques pensent à apporter une assistance humanitaire aux habitants ayant fui les affrontements.
En effet, les élèves et enseignants de l’institut Metanoia ont assisté ce mercredi 21 décembre 2022 les déplacés cantonnés à Kanyaruchinya, situé en territoire de Nyiragongo, au Nord-Kivu. Cette école avait pour cible les personnes du troisième âge issus du site Mugara 2. Selon Kakule Alexandre, préfet des études de l’institut Metanoia, l’assistance était composée des haricots, du riz, des savons, eu sel , de l’huile et quelques habits pour ces déplacés en souffrance dans cette partie du territoire national. A l’occasion, M. Kakule Alexandre appelle le Gouvernement Rwandais à cesser le soutien au rebelle du M23 pour déstabiliser la province du Nord-Kivu.
“[…]C’était pour nous une occasion de manifester notre compension à l’égard de nos mères, nos pères qui sont déplacés, qui ont fui la guerre , qui sont maintenant à Kanyaruchinya. Nous avons supplée un groupe du site qu’on appelle Mugara 2 et nous avons ciblé les personnes du troisième âge. Ils viennent de recevoir quelque chose, c’est notre petite participation à cette compassion envers nos bien-aimés qui sont dans la souffrance, dans la misère. L’assistance était composée d’une petite quantité de haricot, du riz , un peu des savons, du sel, de l’huile et quelques habits.Nous voulons que la geurre cesse par ce que lors de la guerre, il n’y a pas des gagnants. Tout le monde est perdant.Le Gouvernement Rwandais doit cesser à soutenir les groupes armés à l’Est de la RDC”, soutient-il.
Très réceptifs, les bénéficiaires ont salué cette action humanitaire. Ceux-ci disent être disposés à regagner leurs villages au cas où la paix durable y est imposée par les FARDC.
“[…] Nous sommes très content puisque c’est un acte de bienveillance ; ils nous ont accueilli très bien. Ils sont venus nous prendre dans le cas jusqu’à à leur école. Que Dieu bénisse toutes les autorités de cette école voir même les élèves. Si nous avons une paix durable chez nous, nous sommes prêts à regagner nos villages respectifs. Nous demandons aux autres de continuer à prière pour nous et surtout pour notre territoire”, a souhaité Mboneza Azarias secrétaire des déplacés du site Mugara 2.
Pour rappel, malgré les décisions prises lors du Mini-sommet à Luanda, les rebelles du M23 occupent toujours quelques zones des territoires de Rutshuru et Nyiragongo. Ici, ils pillent systématiquement les biens de la paisible population.
