Cette annonce a été faite à l’issue des échanges entre le maire de la ville de Butembo et l’ingénieur Anges Mushigo, gestionnaire du projet de réhabilitation du tronçon Butembo-Kanya ce vendredi 19 Janvier 2024, dans la même ville.
Cet ingénieur renseigne que ce projet de réhabilitation et bitumage de ce tronçon sera financée par la banque mondiale dans le cadre de l’appui à la connectivité de transport et pour faciliter une bonne voie de communication sur la route nationale numéro 2 dans cette partie de la province du Nord-Kivu.
“Nous sommes là dans la suite de la visite en vue de présenter le déroulement du projet à l’autorité urbaine. Ces travaux de réhabilitation sont projetés au cours de mois de mars ou avril . Nous étions dans la phase de recrutement de l’entreprise de construction”, a-t-il expliqué
Notons que le gestionnaire de ce projet a rassuré aux jeunes le recours à la main-d’œuvre locale dans l’exécution de ce projet et appelle la population à se préparer davantage pour l’exécution des travaux y relatifs.
